Her solo show at Eli Ridgway Gallery (San Francisco, CA) in 2012 titled No Touch involved three sound installations that incorporated different stages of sound reflection and absorption though materials and architecture. Ogawa Plaza, using sound to defy the structural barrier dividing the outside and inside of the space. ![]() ![]() ![]() She received her BFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2004 and an MFA from Stanford University in 2011, where her research focused on the history of communications technology and the physiological and psychophysical effects of music and sound on the body. For her 2013 solo exhibition at Pro Arts in Oakland, Gordon created a sculpture and sound installation responsive to the architecture of the gallery and its proximity to Frank H.
